Dr. William Jones attended The University of Texas at Austin and then The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After completing his medical training he served in the Navy, part of that time as the medical officer aboard a nuclear submarine.
Dr. Jones began his private Family Practice in Austin in 1973. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and member of the Texas Medical Association. He has served as president of the Travis County Chapter of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians. He is a member of Mensa as well as a number of other academic organizations.
He is a pilot, skier, scuba diver, and computer addict. He enjoys speaking to civic, business, and professional organizations on a variety of health-related topics.
Dr. Jones has two grown sons.

Mason earned his undergraduate degree from UT in Austin and received his MD degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, following right in his dad’s footsteps. While he was at UTMB, he was a member of AKK medical fraternity, just like his dad. Mason received his Family Practice specialty training at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. His beautiful wife, Stacy, is an RN and Surgical Nurse. Griffin William Jones, their first child (and my first grandchild) arrived in May, 2005.
Russell graduated from Baylor University in December 2001, majoring in Entrepreneurship and Management of Information Systems. He was on the Baylor waterski team and vice-president of Sigma Chi fraternity. He lives in Houston and is a vice president of a commercial real estate firm, Apartment Realty Advisors. His lovely wife, Taryn, recently completed her doctorate in Pharmacy. They have three great kids, Anderson, Harrison, and Emery.
